Talk about an inspiring couple, my friends Zach & Kelly take the cake on this one. If you don’t want to vomit at how ridiculously cute they are together by the end of this video, you might want to check yourself. If I could picture my dream relationship it would be in this little motion picture. My buddy Zach is a super smart strategy designer and restauranteur who owns a lobster shack in an airstream trailer on the beach in Montauk called TURF. He’s a bad ass surfer, and all around inspiring dude. Kelly who you might also know as The Glamourai, is amazing and has a charisma and self assurance that is magnetic. She is vibrant and a joy to be around, is uber creative and a driven business woman. They both have a very refined taste for style. They’re life is completely curated and a dream. This video is literally a straight out depiction of a day in their life. Everything you see in the video is all their own elements. Their chemistry is exactly who they are every day(even though they have their battles I’m sure). Just being with them for two days inspired the hell out of me to find that same synergy they’ve created in my own future relationship.
My good friend/videographer, Sarah Tyler, and I put together this collaboration as a personal project. I shot stills and directed, while she DP’d and then edited, of which she did an amazing job. We both walked away from the two day adventure slightly obsessed, and completely inspired in our own lives.

A month of kung fu training in Wudang, China taught me that the body learns at the speed of honesty rather than the speed of ambition. Here is what martial arts taught me about practice.

Creative coherence is when who you are and how you’re seen are the same thing. A short, clear definition of the term, its four layers, and why it makes a brand magnetic.

A magnetic through-line is the one or two word idea your whole brand becomes associated with. What it is, why it matters, and how to find yours.

Creative coherence is the state where who you are and how you’re seen are the same thing. Why it matters more than frequency, and how to build it.

Your AI sounds generic because it reads the whole internet and returns the average. Here is how to make AI write in your actual voice instead.

For two decades I made other people’s brands coherent while my own waited. Here is the Brand Intelligence Engine I built to finally close that gap.

I was born in a low middle class conservative religious family in the suburbs of Seattle. Art was and always has been my passion, and more than that a way of life. Starting as a graphic designer, I taught myself photography, built a commercial/editorial business shooting for the worlds biggest brands like Nike, Coca-Cola, Adidas and more. I've also had the opportunity to photograph the world's biggest celebrities like Justin Bieber, Usher, Jessica Alba and more. I've curated a lifestyle around creativity and have learned a lot along the way which I get to share here.
