Where are you from?
Born in El Salvador, raised in Dallas, TX. No, I don’t have an accent lol. I only spoke spanish at home so that may have helped me avoid the texas twang.
What’s your favorite color?
My closet would say black but the color pink makes me feel happy.
What are you up to behind the camera?
I’ve been shooting beautiful babes. Stills and video. I’ve collaborated with my friend/mentor, Miko Lim on some recent Editorials for Galore Magazine as well as SOMA. Recently, I was Director of Photography for my first T.V. pilot, which I truly enjoyed doing. I love story telling and everything that comes with that, actors + feelings etc…
What is one monumental moment growing up that shaped who you are today?
If I had to pick one, first thing that comes to mind would be coming to the U.S. My life would have been very different had I stayed in El Salvador.
What inspires you?
Love, music, dancing, nature, beautiful hearts, open and conscious minds.
What made you shift to going behind the camera?
It’s more fun to have your own vision/idea and make it a reality. Sharing how your eyes see the world, beauty. I’ve always been a bit rebellious, I like doing my own thing. Think it’s boring to be a part of somebody else’s vision all the time. I have my own.
What is your favorite hobby?
Dancing like no one is looking, even if they are.
What is your vision?
To be the female version of Quentin Tarantino? 😉
What song do you have on repeat?
I’ve been listening to the pianist Chilly Gonzales, his song OverNight has been on major replay lately.
