Have you found your purpose for your life? Better yet, your “WHY?”
Purpose: the reason for which something exists, is done or is created.
Purpose in life brings fulfillment and meaning. It can be anything from your mission, to loving your family and those around you, to changing the world on a large scale. Whatever it is, if it gives you meaning, then you’ll be fulfilled.
You can have all the money in the world, but if you lack a greater purpose, you’ll likely be unsatisfied and unhappy. In my own experience, I seek resonance from my creativity, and inspiring the world. That is my purpose.
Today, my good friend Adam Braun’s book comes out. It’s called, “The Promise of a Pencil: How an ordinary person can create extraordinary change.”
A couple points in the book Adam talks about in finding your purpose:
1. Acknowledge that Purpose actually exists. Open your mind to the idea that you CAN live life with a purpose.
2. Be open to “Lightening Moments” Those “ah hah” moments that come and turn the lightbulb on in your head that create action.
His life is all about purpose and helping others find theirs. If you’ve found yours and want to refine it or you are trying to find it, this book is perfect for you. You can pick it up here.

I was born in a low middle class conservative religious family in the suburbs of Seattle. Art was and always has been my passion, and more than that a way of life. Starting as a graphic designer, I taught myself photography, built a commercial/editorial business shooting for the worlds biggest brands like Nike, Coca-Cola, Adidas and more. I've also had the opportunity to photograph the world's biggest celebrities like Justin Bieber, Usher, Jessica Alba and more. I've curated a lifestyle around creativity and have learned a lot along the way which I get to share here.
